Are we preparing for Christmas in the middle of summer? Not really, but we're not too far off either

On June 25, six months away from Christmas, "Mid-Year Christmas" or "June Christmas" is celebrated in some cultures and regions. This day is not an official holiday, but it is sometimes used as a fun occasion to bring a little Christmas spirit into the middle of summer.

Tradition says that June 25 is the day when Christmas preparation activities begin at the North Pole. First of all, the craftsmen start with toys and gifts. Then the children who are common and who will be visited are noted. There is a lot of excitement, many things to do, there must be a boss. Who else but Santa Claus

Only this time things don't go as they should.

In “Red One,” after Santa Claus (Simmons) is kidnapped, the North Pole Security Chief (Johnson) must team up with the world's most infamous bounty hunter (Evans) on an action-packed globe-trotting mission to save Christmas.

The first trailer and poster for the Christmas action comedy “Red One” have been released.

The film stars Dwayne Johnson (“Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” “Black Adam”), Chris Evans (“The Business of Pain,” “Captain America”) and J.K. Simmons (“Invincible,” “Whiplash”). The cast is completed by Lucy Liu (“Kill Bill: Volume 1”), Kiernan Shipka (“Bloody Sixteen”), Bonnie Hunt (“Jumanji”), Kristofer Hivju (“Vicious Bear”), Nick Kroll (“Sing!” ) and Wesley Kimmel (“The Mandalorian”).

Jake Kasdan, director of the “Jumanji” reboots, is directing the film, while Chris Morgan (“Fast & Furious 7”) is writing the script from a story by Hiram Garcia.

According to message in first trailer “Red One” opens in theaters on November 15. The release was delayed from December 20, 2023, until November 15, 2024, with the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike cited as the reason, along with the film now getting a worldwide theatrical release. Amazon MGM will distribute it in the USA and Canada, while Warner Bros. Pictures will handle the film's international release
