Bridgerton Season 3 - Spectator Criticism

Bridgerton Season 3 part 2
In my opinion, Bridgerton season 3 is very, very bad, the two protagonists have no chemistry, Colin is macho and plays very badly, it's ridiculous! Criticism fully deserved!

Very repetitive and boring. In the last episode, we realize that Francesca's love story will be homosexual, with Michael becoming Michaela and their first look is ridiculous and so far from the book! Is this necessary?

We must take the series as having nothing to do with the books apart from the names of the protagonists!

In this Bridgerton Season 3 part 2 the story is totally changed and it's a shame!

We waited 2 years for it to experience limitless boredom and disappointment!

I don't expect anything more for the next Bridgerston season!

A word of advice: read the books! It's much more interesting and exhilarating!

I loved season 2 of the Bridgerton series, and I also really liked the spin-off about Queen Charlotte. But this season 3 what a disappointment, including Francesca's story.

I appreciate the development of secondary characters like Violette, Cressida, Benedict... but I find that their development totally overshadows Colin and Pen who are supposed to be the protagonists of the Bridgerton season 3.

We don't understand Colin's feelings towards Penelope; they evolve too suddenly and are more akin to carnal desire than true love, which is very disappointing. Criticism fully deserved!

As for the love scenes between them, they are very literary in the sense that there is no aesthetic around it as there may have been in previous seasons, and the The dialogues in these are exactly the same as those in the book.

On the other hand, I wonder a lot about the future of the series, we can see that the writers do not particularly forbid themselves from the original material which are the books of Julia Quinn and that they take much more pleasure in developing aspects that are not present in the book. We notice this again at the end of the last episode with the transformation of Micheal's character into Michaela. I don't know if they will keep Francesca's story as it is presented in the book or if they will completely transform it to develop the relationship between the young women. Francesca's story being entirely based on a question of procreation I don't quite see how it could be arranged if the two protagonists have the same sex, I therefore only see two solutions, a protagonist other than Michaela for Francesca by keeping the story of the book or indeed a romance between them but by completely changing the story. Again, Criticism fully deserved!

In summary, I don't understand the constant half-heartedness of the series, and I am very disappointed with this Bridgerton Season 3 part 2 adaptation.
